Deck Resurfacing Repair. Our first step in resurfacing decks is proper deck repair.

For this Rialto project, we removed and replaced the bottom 8 inches of the stucco and in order to install the Diato ‘Combo’ metal. Next, Diato metal was placed along the deck to wall transition, incorporating the stucco screed. This was to make sure the wall was ready for stucco when we were done. We then installed drip edge flashing around the perimeter of the decking surface. A door pan was installed under the threshold to insure a waterproof seal.

Deck Resurfacing System. Our last step in resurfacing decks are our varied deck waterproofing systems.

For this particular deck coatings project, we used the Crete Decking System. This is a multi-layer waterproofing membrane designed for use over plywood sub-floors.
